Terms of Service

1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of Studio Schema's services: the marketing site, the Academy, Schema OS, repo licenses, and e-books. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you're buying for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2. Accounts
You need an account for the Academy and Schema OS. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. One person per account — Team and Studio plans exist precisely so you don't have to share logins.
3. Academy membership
Membership ($39/month or $299/year) grants access to all tracks, modules, and companion e-books while your subscription is active. Track 1 is free for every account, indefinitely. Lesson content is licensed for your personal learning — you may apply everything you learn commercially, but you may not republish, resell, or redistribute the lessons or e-books themselves.
4. Schema OS subscriptions
Hosted plans (Solo $19/month, Team $49/month) are bring-your-own-key: AI usage runs against keys you supply and is billed by your providers directly. Plans begin with a 14-day trial; billing starts when the trial ends unless you cancel first. If your subscription lapses, your workspace becomes read-only and your data remains exportable.
5. Repo licenses
The repo license ($399 individual, $1,499 studio) grants a perpetual, non-exclusive license to run and modify the Schema OS source for your own or your company's internal use, with 12 months of updates included. It does not permit reselling, sublicensing, or offering the software as a service to third parties. The individual license covers one person; the studio license covers employees and contractors of one organization. A refund revokes the license and repository access.
6. Billing and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime from your account and access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices may change, but never mid-term — changes apply from your next renewal, with notice.
7. The 30-day guarantee
Every purchase — memberships, OS plans, repo licenses, e-books — carries a 30-day refund window. Email hello@studio-schema.com within 30 days of purchase and we refund in full, no questions asked. Refunded repo licenses lose repository access; refunded memberships keep Track 1, because Track 1 is free anyway.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the services to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other workspaces, or to send spam through any sending capability the products provide. AI features must be used within your providers' usage policies as well as ours. We may suspend accounts that put other customers or the platform at risk, and we'll tell you why.
9. Your content
You own what you put into Schema OS and what you build with what you learn. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and process your content to operate the service. We claim nothing else.
10. Our content
The lessons, e-books, brand, and the Schema OS source (outside the rights a repo license grants you) remain our intellectual property. The skills and configurations you derive from the curriculum are yours.
11. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is." We work in a fast-moving field and keep content verified on a schedule, but we don't warrant that any lesson, tool, or AI output is error-free or fit for a particular purpose. AI-generated output should be reviewed before you rely on it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data — keep exports of what matters.
13. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that materially breach these terms; where the breach is fixable, we'll warn you first. Sections that by nature survive (licenses already revoked, liability limits, ownership) survive termination.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email and take effect no sooner than 14 days after notice. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Questions: hello@studio-schema.com.
